Barolo Wine Dinner
with Mauro Manzone of Giovanni Manzone Estate
We are proud to host our next wine dinner featuring a long-standing partner from the Barolo village of Monforte d’Alba.
Founded in 1925, Giovanni Manzone is a small, family-run estate focused on high-altitude and highly-prized sites. Their approach is rooted in organic farming and traditional techniques, resulting in the structured, terroir-driven Barolos that define the region’s best Crus.
Mauro Manzone, representing the family’s fifth generation, will join us at our community table to share the estate’s history and the stories behind the wine. This is a rare opportunity to engage directly with the winemaker while exploring how their traditional methods translate from the soil to the glass.
The evening will feature five courses designed to pair with six specific selections. The lineup includes Rossese Bianco—one of Piedmont’s rarest white varietals—followed by Barbera d’Alba and four Nebbiolo-based wines. We will highlight three distinct single-vineyard Barolos: Bricat, Castelletto, and Gramolere, spanning multiple vintages to showcase their evolution.
While Nebbiolo is always a focus of our wine list, hosting the producers themselves allows for a much deeper perspective on these bottles. We invite you to join us for an evening of great wine and conversation. Space is extremely limited.
Reception begins promptly at 6:00. Dinner begins at 6:15.
