Opening a Bottle: Italy
Wine Dinner with Kevin Day & Anthony Giglio
We are ecstatic to host one of the most unique dinners to date. Two powerhouse voices in wine, two gifted storytellers, one shared table. Expect deep conversations, laughter, and a night that lingers long after the last glass is poured.
We are thrilled to welcome back our friend and local author Kevin Day, whose newly published Opening a Bottle: Italy is a love letter to the wines, producers, and landscapes of Italy. Alongside him, we host Anthony Giglio, contributing editor at Food & Wine magazine, Wine Director for the American Express Centurion Global Lounge Collection, and one of the most dynamic entertainers in the world of wine.
This dinner celebrates Kevin’s book, filled with producer stories, stunning photography, and a curated list of 100 Italian wines to admire. Anthony penned the foreword, making this collaboration especially meaningful. For the first time, the two will come together at one table, sharing stories, insights, and their infectious passion for Italian wine and culture.
Restaurant Olivia’s culinary team will craft five courses, perfectly paired with seven wines featured in the book. Each wine carries its own history, and Kevin and Anthony will bring those stories to life throughout the evening.
Signed copies of Opening a Bottle: Italy will be available for purchase—a lasting memento of a night that promises to blend education, joy, and community.
This is not just another dinner. It is a rare moment to connect with two giants of wine writing, to taste remarkable wines, and to be part of a conversation that only happens once.
