Wine Dinner with author Kevin Day

OPENING A BOTTLE: ITALY

We’re thrilled to welcome back our friend and local talent, Kevin Day, for a one-of-a-kind wine dinner celebrating his newest book project: Opening a Bottle: Italy.

Kevin is a Colorado native, the editor-in-chief of the respected online publication Opening a Bottle, and one of the most thoughtful voices in wine writing today. Over the years, he has traveled extensively through Italy, meeting with producers, exploring regions, and photographing the people and places that define Italian wine. His new book is a deeply personal tribute to that journey, an independently-published love letter to the wines, grapes, and stories that make Italy so endlessly captivating.

During the evening, we’ll taste 7 wines featured in the book, each selected for its cultural significance and expressive character. Kevin will share stories from his travels, offer behind-the-scenes insight into his writing and photography process, and introduce us to the winemakers who inspired him along the way.

Restaurant Olivia’s culinary team will prepare a five-course dinner thoughtfully paired to highlight the beauty of each wine and the regions they represent.

Books will be available to purchase at the event (currently the only way to get your hands on a copy).

Don’t miss this special opportunity to experience Italy through the lens of one of wine’s most engaging storytellers.
