Piedmont’s Hidden Gems

Join us as we explore the lesser-known native grapes of Piedmont in an evening of wine and conviviality.

Our wine director, Scott Thomas, will taste you through the rich history and unique characteristics of these “hidden gem” wines of the region. From Timorasso, Nascetta, Arneis, Erbaluce, Dolcetto, Pelaverga, and Freisa, to Grignolino, these grapes are celebrated in their respective communes and have an equally long history as Nebbiolo, which is the star of the show.

This class includes a light dinner with Piedmontese pastas, paired with typical wines of the region, and lots of conversation. With only nine seats available, this intimate affair guarantees a fresh love for Piedmont's captivating past and its crucial role in Italy's wine culture.

The class begins at 4:30 with the light dinner concluding by 7:00.
