Piedmont Wine Dinner
with Ceretto Winery and Andrea Sozzi
Some dinners are special, and others are so rare you simply cannot miss.
As many of you know, our hearts beat a little faster for Piedmont, with its deep gastronomic traditions and world-class wines. This passion shows up on our wine list and even in our pasta shapes throughout the year. But on September 17, it comes to life in a special way.
We are honored to welcome Ceretto, one of Piedmont’s most visionary families, for an intimate dinner hosted by export manager and regional expert Andrea Sozzi. More than producers, Ceretto are cultural stewards – championing sustainable viticulture, pioneering art installations across their estates, helping to resurrect the once-forgotten Arneis grape, and crafting some of the world’s finest Nebbiolo-based wines. They continue to preserve Dolcetto when others abandon it, and elevate their territory through education and gastronomy, including ownership of a three-Michelin-starred restaurant in Alba.
This evening will showcase seven Ceretto wines alongside five courses from the Restaurant Olivia culinary team, including rare multi-vintage comparative tastings of Barolo and Barbaresco. Expect not just a dinner, but a journey into the heart of Langhe, guided by Andrea’s deep knowledge and stories.
For us, this is also personal. Not only has our team traveled and visited Ceretto in 2024, Andrea and our Wine Director, Scott Thomas, studied together in Piedmont during their master’s program. Their shared history ensures the conversation around our community table will be as rich and layered as the wines in your glass.
Seats are extremely limited, and this promises to be one of our most memorable evenings yet.
