Barolo Wine Dinner

with Barbara Sandrone of Sandrone Winery

We are absolutely over the moon to welcome one of Piedmont’s brightest stars to our community table. Few regions make our hearts race quite like Piedmont, and few families embody its soul as beautifully as the Sandrones.

Barbara Sandrone, second generation of the iconic Sandrone winery, will join us for an evening that promises to be nothing short of unforgettable. Her father, Luciano, is a legend whose story began literally in a garage, where he crafted wines for 22 vintages before building the estate that today stands as a Barolo landmark.

His very first vineyard purchase was none other than Cannubi, one of Barolo’s most storied crus, which still anchors their Barolo wines today. That spirit of modern vision woven with traditional roots continues through Barbara and into the third generation, ensuring the Sandrone name remains synonymous with excellence.

Barbara herself is a joy to be around. Gracious, generous, and deeply passionate about sharing her family’s story. Around our table, she will guide us through seven wines that speak to Piedmont’s heart and soul: Dolcetto, Barbera, a mini-vertical of each Barolo Aleste and Barolo Le Vigne, and Roero’s greatest jewel: Valmaggiore.

To bring these wines fully to life, our Restaurant Olivia culinary team will craft a five course menu celebrating the season.

This night is everything we love about what we do. Gathering community, sharing stories, tasting wines of profound beauty, and basking in the magic of Piedmont.
