Tour de France Apericena

with Master Sommelier Jack Mason

hosted by Scott Thomas

Apericena (a-pair-ee-chaina) - a social hour that begins as an aperitivo and segues into a wine-filled dinner.

We can call this a sip and learn, a wine class, or just a great excuse to gather in conviviality as we explore wines.

We’re thrilled to welcome Jack Mason, Master Sommelier and National Sales Director of Banville Wine Merchants, for the next edition of our educational Apericena series. With only 172 Master Sommeliers in North America, and 269 globally, Jack brings a rare level of expertise to the table.

This evening features a curated tour through Banville’s acclaimed French portfolio, including wines from Champagne, Bourgogne, and the Rhône, with a spotlight on producers like Franck Pascal, Domaine Odoul-Coquard, Domaine Graeme & Julie Bott, and Pierre Meurgey. Wines will be tasted side by side, allowing for a guided exploration of terroir, philosophy, and regional nuance.

Whether you’re just beginning your wine journey or have years of experience, Jack’s thoughtful and approachable style makes this an evening for all levels of wine lovers.

Chef Ty and the Restaurant Olivia culinary team will serve a light, two pasta dinner plus charcuterie and dessert, perfectly paired with nine wines throughout the night.

Seating is limited around our community table. This is an evening of conversation, connection, and exceptional wine you won’t want to miss. Reception at 6:00, sit-down tasting begins at 6:15.
