Umbria Wine Dinner
with Lorenzo Mattoni
We’re proud to host our first-ever Umbrian wine dinner, featuring special guest Lorenzo Mattoni, one of Montefalco’s rising stars in winemaking.
Lorenzo works solo, producing limited quantities of expressive, character-driven wines under his own name. His father, Lodivico Mattoni, was one of the pioneers of dry Montefalco Sagrantino—helping define the style that Lorenzo now evolves with a focus on purity, precision, and place.
This intimate dinner will feature seven wines, including a vertical tasting of Lorenzo’s Sagrantino (2015, 2017, and 2018), as well as his vibrant Trebbiano Spoletino, and Dinamico — a bold blend of Sagrantino, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Chef Ty and the Restaurant Olivia culinary team will craft a five-course dinner to match, as Lorenzo leads a personal conversation around our shared table, on Umbria, its terroir, and what makes this region one of Italy’s most quietly exciting.
Whether you’re a dedicated collector or a passionate enthusiast, this is a rare chance to taste and connect with the winemaker himself.
